Betinne

Betinne is a girl as gentle as the spring sunshine.

Betinne is 14 inches tall, sewn from pale tan laib yala cotton and stuffed with sweet Devonshire wool.

She has deep brown eyes and her hair is a dainty cap of baby pink brushed mohair.

Like all Ladybird dolls she features embroidered eyebrows, ears, swirly belly button, a little bottom and blushed knee dimples.

This sweet girl will come dressed in the following:

Pointelle cotton undies

Gingam bloomers

Cotton undershirt

Embroidered roses dress with ribbon ties

Pure wool knit slippers with snap fastenings and contrast sole

Well mannered and eager to please, though quite prone to be overwhelmed by her feelings sometimes - Betinne is a delicate natured child who will need a home where she will get lots of cuddles!

Betinne is offered in my shop comment style untill 9am (est) monday.

Please note that due to her buttoned clothing and whispy hair this doll is suited to a child over four years old for gentle play, or to be loved by a dolly mama.

Squeaker

 This is Squeaker, the younger of my april dolls. She is giggly and exuberant by nature -

always larking about and pestering Lapine to play with her! 

Her new family will soon understand why she has been named Squeaker - for this excitable child is forever shrieking and squeaking with delight 

( particularly in chase and tag games ) 

She sounds just like a happy little guinea pig! 

Squeaker is made from quality fair DeWitte cotton, stuffed with soft carded wool and embroidered with cotton floss. She is beset with an abundance of freckles ( with even a couple on her bottom! ) Her hair is tousled brushed mohair in a firey red shade.

Like all ladybird dolls she has many features, including: a tiny bottom, swirly belly button, stitched knees, tiny ears and expressive stitched eyebrows.
She will come dressed in the following:

saffron yellow woolen knit cardigan
pointelle cotton lace undies
stripey sole woolen knit slippers

Lapine

Meet Lapine, the elder of my april dolls. She is sweet natured and patient - just as well when you have such a mischievous younger sister! 

She was gifted her name from a favorite childhood book 'Watership Down' as this dear girl is adamant that she can speak rabbit language!

 Lapine is made from quality fair DeWitte cotton, stuffed with soft carded wool and embroidered with cotton floss. Her hair is whispy brushed mohair in a warm golden brown shade.

Like all ladybird dolls she has many features, including: a tiny bottom, swirly belly button, stitched knees, tiny ears and expressive stitched eyebrows.
She will come dressed in the following:

moss green woolen knit cardigan
pointelle cotton lace undies
stripey sole cotton/alpaca knit slippers
